Eliminating minor faults yourself
Before you call customer service:
Please check whether you can eliminate the fault yourself based on the following information.
Customer service will charge you for advice, even if the appliance is still under guarantee!
Fault
Floor of the refrigerator
compartment is wet.
The refrigerating unit
is switching on more
frequently and for longer.
Refrigerator has no
cooling capacity.
Customer service
You can find an after-sales service point near to you in the
telephone directory or in the list of after-sales service points.
When you call the after-sales service, quote your product
number (E no.) and the production number (FD no.) of your
appliance.
You will find this information on the rating plate.

appliance and production number. This will save you the
additional associated costs.

Possible cause
The condensation drainage pipe is blocked.
Appliance door opened frequently.
The ventilation openings have been covered.
Appliance has switched off.
Power failure; the fuse has been switched off; the mains
plug has not been inserted properly.
Remedial action
Clean the condensation channel and
outlet
(see section "Cleaning the
appliance").
Do not open the door unnecessarily.
Remove obstacles.
Press the On/Off button.
Check whether the power is on,
check the fuses.
