6. Storage and transportion of the device
The DK rescue clamp must be protected from negative influences. These influences include heat
or cold, electrical influences, sparks, strong solar radiation (ultraviolet degradation), impacts,
dropping, sharp or pointed objects, moisture or other mechanical or chemically aggressive effects.
The DK rescue clamp should always be stored and transported in the appropriate packaging or in
the packaging specified by the manufacturer. Store in a cool, dry place.
Cleaning: After use, we recommend that the DK rescue clamp is cleaned as required. Wipe the
rescue clamp using a mild, lukewarm soap solution, then rinse with clean water and dry. The res-
cue clamp must always be allowed to dry naturally, i.e. never hang it directly over sources of heat.
Store the DK rescue clamp DK in an dry, well ventilated and dark place (ideal scenario). Avoid
contact with acids, corrosive liquids and oils. Before using disinfectants, you have to contact the
manufacturer due to the complex legal product classifications based on the specific applications
and constituents.
