The air control was opened for 16.5 minutes or when 15% of the load weight has been
consumed, and then set at the lowest burn rate. The fan was turned on at low speed at 30
minutes. Due to a bad manipulation in the post leak check of the sampling system, black soot got
sucked by one of the filter train. After weighting, the deviation ratio was above 7.5 % which leads
to an invalid test run.
RUN #2 (May 23
a category "Low burn rate" of 1.3 kg/hr. Let the door ajar for 6.5 minutes, and then closed. The air
control was opened for 16.5 minutes or when 15% of the load weight has been consumed, and
then set at the targeted burn rate. The fan was turned on at low speed at 30 minutes.
RUN #3 (May 24
a category "Medium burn rate" of 1.7 kg/hr. Let the door ajar for 6.5 minutes, and then closed.
The air control was opened for 16.5 minutes or when 15% of the load weight has been
consumed, and then set at the targeted burn rate. The fan was turned on at medium speed at 30
minutes.
RUN #4 (May 25
High burn rate of 3.9 kg/hr. The door was open for 5 minutes, then closed. The air control was
fully opened. Start the fan at full speed.
