Cleaning the air filter

Wear a dust mask so that you do not inhale the unpleasant dust by mistake.
• Press the choke lever
the right as far as it goes.
• Open the brackets
pushing their outer end backwards.
• Remove the cover
• Remove the filter element
• Cleaning the filter element:
− Carefully blow the filter element outdoors using compressed air, vacuum the
filter element carefully or rinse the filter element using a mild soap solution
and allow it to dry well.
• Wipe the cover and the air filter housing
inside with a slightly dampened cloth. Dampen the cloth using a mild soap
solution.
• Insert the filter element into the air filter housing.
• Place the cover on the housing. Ensure that the cover is seated properly.
• Push the brackets forward and lock them.
