The SCAN function menu also offers the access to the function: SEARCH [F2]
and MODEM [F3].
The SEARCH
DOCSIS/EuroDOCSIS channels present at the channel plan frequency band. Also for
each DOCSIS/EuroDOCSIS channel shows the channel power (PWR), the MER
measurement, the modulation (MOD), the symbol rate (SR) and the corresponding
upstream channel identifier (UCI). The system identifies the possible channels where it
is able to do ranging with a number. The number of these identifiers, as well as their
position will determine the time that it can take to set the emission power (ranging).
