meat, poultry, fish, sausages, pre-packed
foods.
Pack raw and cooked foods separately
(e.g. in containers, aluminium foil, etc.).
Only remove the outside packaging of sin-
gle packs if all the necessary information,
e.g. the use-by date, can also be read on
the single packs.
Do not leave cooled goods outside the
refrigerator for too long.
Place the foods with the next use-by date
at the front, accordingly.
Pack away any left-over food and eat at the
first opportunity.
Wash your hands before and after handling
any food.
Regularly clean the inside of the refrigera-
tor.
Please observe the instructions and informati-
on regarding the use-by date on the outside
packaging of the food.
Please observe section Cleaning of this
instruction.
2.8 Testing LP gas safety shutoff
When testing the gas supply system at test
pressures in excess of 1/2 psig (3.5 kPa), the
refrigerator and its individual
must be disconnected from the gas supply
piping system.
When testing the gas supply system at pres-
sures less than or equal to 1/2 psig (3.5 kPa),
the appliance must be isolated from the gas
supply piping by closing its individual manual
shutoff valve.
In case detailed instructions on the installation
and connection to the gas supply are required,
contact your dealer or distributor.
The gas safety shutoff must be tested after the
refrigerator is connected to LP gas supply.
To test the gas safety shutoff, proceed as fol-
lows:

Start the refrigerator according to the
instructions for LP Gas Operation. See
"Section 4.3.2. Gas operation"
Check that the gas flame is lit. Allow it to
burn a few minutes to ensure a full, stable
flame.
Keep button (1) (FIG. 6, PG. 14) pressed for
3 seconds. The display disappears and the
appliance is fully switched off.
Within 1-2 seconds the gas valve should
automatically close. The flame is off.
Apply a commercial leak detection solution
to the burner jet. No bubbles should ap-
pear.
Bubbles indicate a gas leak and the safety
valve must be replaced by a qualified ser-
viceman.
Rinse the burner jet with water. Light the
burner and allow it to burn for five minutes.
