9 | Setup and installation
CAUTION
Material breakage.
Falling hazard. Cuts.
▪ Do not climb onto or into the appliance.
▪ Do not apply any load to the lid.
Heavy appliance parts.
Hands may become trapped.
▪ During setup and installation, observe your
fingers and hands.
▪ Use protective gloves.
NOTE
Material and property damage due to accu-
mulation of warm exhaust air (heat accumula-
tion).
▪ With separate installation, maintain the minimum
distance to the boundary surfaces such as, walls,
devices, shelves.
Material and property damage in the event of
incorrect positioning.
▪ Place the appliance in a stable operating position
(horizontal alignment).
▪ Only set up the appliance on the swivel castors al-
ready mounted.
▪ Do not expose the appliance to heat radiation at
the place of installation.
▪ Do not expose the appliance to direct air condition-
ing or ventilation at the place of installation.
▪ Do not fix any thick insulating materials to the outer
walls. Stick on advertising posters only as thin film.
Minimum clearance with single installation:
All round: 50 mm

After setting up, block the swivel castors with the
parking brake.
Removal and installation of the lid
Reason for removal and installation of the lid:
–
To install or remove the interior equipment.
–
for carrying out a complete defrosting with subse-
quent cleaning
–
the lid is damaged

Lid removal
1.
Open the top lid.
2.
Carefully lift out the lid using both hands.
3.
Lift out the bottom lid with both hands.
Lid installation
1.
Insert the bottom lid.
2.
Insert the top lid.
3.
Close the lid completely.

Slide the lid locks into the recesses.
