Operation
1. Unwind the power cord fully from the cord
storage underneath the base.
2. Place the base on a level, stable, dry and
heat-resistant surface.
3. Place the pot on the base and fill it with
oil, broth, cheese, chocolate or other
ingredients (depending on selected recipe).
4. Place the splash guard on the pot and make
sure it is correctly attached. Never use the
appliance without the splash guard.
5. Connect the power plug to a suitable
electrical outlet.
6. Turn the temperature control to desired
temperature (0 to MAX). The indicator goes
on to indicate that the appliance starts
to heat up. The indicator goes off when
selected temperature is reached.
7. When the required temperature is reached,
spear the ingredient with fork and gently
dip in the fondue of your choice (oil, broth,
cheese or chocolate). If needed, rest the
fork in the slot of the fork holder.
8. After serving, rotate the temperature
control to 0 to switch the appliance off.
9. Unplug the appliance and let it cool before
cleaning and storage.
Warning
Never touch the hot surfaces with your bare
hands. Use the handles / knobs and wear
heat-insulated mittens. Danger of burns!
Warning
Always make sure the contents in the pot
are between the minimum and maximum
markings to avoid any spillage or damage.
