Intended use / guarantee
The electrically operated vane cell pumps are suitable for decanting and bottling of diesel, fuel oil
or similar fluids that meet the hazard class A3, flash point above 55 ° C.
Viscous media of Hazard Classes A1 and A2 cannot be supported by this equipment.
The integrated bypass valve in the pump body is at the limit of the max. delivery pressure.
A flow meter can be easily retrofitted to the pump.
The installation must not be operated in potentially explosive areas.
Any other use as well as modification or alteration of the installation and pump is only permitted
after consultation with the manufacturer.
If used as intended and in accordance with the instructions, we are liable under the statutory
warranty. The invoice from your dealer with the date of purchase must be enclosed with warranty
claims.

Assembly and delivery
The structure, including the individual components for the systems EP 12 V andEP 24 V are
pictured on page 3, for systems EP 12 V PLUS and EP 24 V PLUS see page 4. When the voltage
is ready and the system is switched on, the vane cell pump will begin to run. (EP 12 V PLUS and
EP 24 V PLUS have no on / off switch). The delivery of the
EP 12 / 24 includes 1 roll of TEFLON- tape seal.
The exact scope of delivery is shown in the order confirmation.

Set up and operation of EP 12/24 and EP 12/24 PLUS
Place vane cell pump on the container.

Insert suction hose into the opening of the container.

Check all connections for a firm fit and leaks before starting the system.
The system is now operational.

EP12-24V PLUS
Attach connecting clamp of the pump to a 12V or 24V battery.

First connect the +pole and then the -pole to the battery.
The vane cell pump starts to operate straight away.
Separation from the battery: First remove the negative cable and then the positive cable.

Follow the recommendations of the battery manufacturer.
EP12-24V
Attach connecting clamp of the pump to a 12V or 24V battery.

First connect the +pole and then the -pole to the battery.
Press the pump's on-switch. The vane cell pump starts to operate. Press the lever until

production commences.
The use of an automatic nozzle is of advantage for proper venting during commissioning of the

pump system, if the hose connection is opened slightly at the pump during the intake process
(max. ½ revolution).
When the system is not in use turn off the electric vane cell pump.

Do not allow the pump to run for longer than 5 min against the closed nozzle.
