BENCH ALIGNMENT

Sagital plane (Figure 4)
• Determine vertical socket position in alignment jig.
• Load line bisects socket and falls through the ground contact point or
approximately 63mm (2.5") posterior to end of toe.
• Clamp foot into a 7° flexion position.
Coronal plane
• Introduce appropriate socket abduction/adduction using a jig.
• Determine appropriate internal or external socket rotation.
• Outset the foot module approximately 12 mm (1/2").
• Achieve proper height approximately 38mm (1 ½") taller than the
sound side to compensate for vertical compression.
note: The recommendations for bench alignment are used as a starting
point. Definitive alignment will be achieved during dynamic assessment
using the alignment adapter.

CUTTING FOOT MODULE
• Ensure athlete has enough clearance during knee flexion.
• Trim foot module to the top end of the laminating connector.
• Cut foot module using a hack saw or band saw.
NIKE SPIKE PAD (Figure 5 & 6)
• Sand the bottom surface of the foot module
• Bond the Nike Spike Pad using contact cement or industrial strength
glue
• Follow glue manufacturer bonding instructions
WATERPROOF
A waterproof device allows use in a wet and/or humid environment and
temporary (<30 mins.) submersion of up to 1m in fresh water. Exposure
to fresh water under these circumstances shall have no harmful effect.
Dry thoroughly after contact with fresh water. Fresh water: Includes tap
water. Excludes salt and chlorinated water.
The components used with the foot need to be waterproof as well.

The manufacturer recommends using the device only under the specified
conditions and for the intended purposes. The device must be
maintained according to the instructions for use. The manufacturer is
not liable for damage caused by component combinations that were not
authorized by the manufacturer.
