• Do not make any modifications of any kind on
your Caldofà.
• Don't leave your Caldofà exposed to the weather
(rain, sun, etc.).
• Do not cover or obstruct the unit's air intake and
outlet grilles.
• Do not rest tools or material on your Caldofà or
its electrical cord.
• Always turn your Caldofà on when lighting up
your fireplace. This will prevent any damage from
occurring to the motor-ventilator unit due to
overheating.
• To store the motor-ventilator unit and leave the
heat exchanger in the stack, it is advisable to
insert the caps with the symbol of a faun,
supplied with the unit, into the holes of the pipes
group.
• Whenever you no longer need to use your
Caldofà and want to remove it from the fireplace
for storage, first turn it off and then remove the
plug from the wall socket. Then, after having
made sure it is properly cleaned and oiled (see
the Maintenance / Cleaning section), store it in a

to be connected conform to the existing "Safety
requirements for electric systems"
• If the electrical cord is damaged, have an authorised
Vortice Service Centre replace it for you as soon as
possible.
