Separating and roughing discs
All kinds of roughing and separating
discs (cropped A/B and flat) can be
mounted to the spindle (8) (Figure 2).
Depending on the type and thickness
of the disc, an appropriate arrange-
ment of the clamping flange (9) and
support flange (10) is selected.
Push the spindle lock (12) in
deep and hold in this position.
If necessary, gently rotate the
spindle with the free hand until it en-
gages. Hold the spindle lock (12)
down and insert the wrench (14) into
the holes on the clamping flange (9).
Rotate the clamping flange anti-clock-
wise to release the flange. (Figure 6)
Remove the clamping flange (9) from
the spindle (8). Do not remove the
support flange (10).
Check whether the support flange
(10) is seated correctly on the spin-
dle. The side with the ring joint (10a)
must face away from the power tool
(Figure 2)
Place the grinding body on the spin-
dle.
CAUTION! Check the grinding
body before placement for
possible damages, e.g. cracks or
wear! Never use a damaged or
worn grinding body!
CAUTION! Pay attention to the
direction of rotation on the
grinding disc!

Place the clamping flange (10) on the
spindle (9). Regardless of whether the
grinding body has a flat or deep inte-
rior, the clamping flange must be
used. For this, follow Figure 2.
Figure 2 also shows show the ten-
sioning flange (10) is to be fitted
when using thick or thin grinding
discs.
Tighten the clamping flange (10)
firmly. To do this, press the spindle
lock (12) and, at the same time, ro-
tate the clamping flange (10) clock-
wise using the wrench (14).
CAUTION! Make sure that the
grinding body has been se
cured well, but do not use force to
do so! This can result in a broken
grinding body!
Rotate the grinding body by hand.
Make sure that it is secured and ro-
tates properly. The grinding body
may not wobble.
CAUTION! Allow the grinding
body to cool down before re
placing it. Risk of burning! Always
work with the disc cover mounted!
Additional handle
Depending on the working method
being used, the additional handle
(13) can be mounted to two different
positions on the grinding head
(Figure 4).
