Switch off engine and ignition, switch off all consumers
Switch on an interior lamp (approx. 2-15 W)
Set the selector switch to the correct position
Connect charging lead to the correct vehicle pole terminals
Connect charger to grid

Carefully detach vehicle pole terminals from the battery poles
Charger supplies the vehicle electronics
Replace battery
Connect vehicle pole terminals to correct poles of the new battery
Unplug the device from the grid
Remove charging lead from the vehicle pole terminals
