Unplug the device from the grid
Disconnect battery
Determine cause of safety cut-out
Rectify error and restart charging if necessary
These symbols are displayed alternately

Restart charging
Active accessories using too much power
Switch off accessories and restart charging
Faulty battery (e.g. cell short circuit, smell of gas, differing cell tempera-
tures, housing deformation, different liquid levels or liquid leaking, etc.)
Check battery. Do not continue the charging process under any circum-
stances
Selector switch incorrectly set
Correct selector switch setting and restart charging
Incorrect device type for this application
Check battery and charger and ensure they are compatible
Read operating instructions before charging.
Avoid flames and sparks during charging.
Caution! Explosive gases given off during charging.
