P5 - COMFORT function: pressing this button forces power and ventilation onto P1. Deactivating this function will
take the power and ventilation to the value prior to activation.
This function observes and performs STANDBY.
P6 - QUICK function: pressing this button forces the machine power onto P5, saving the previous set power.
Ventilation, too, if present, is forced onto AUTOMATIC (so maximum ventilation); saving the previous ventilation
value. When pressed with the comfort function activated, it restores power and ventilation to the previous saved
value. With set ambient or set water satisfied the heater modulates P1 power together with ventilation.
P7 - MAGIC CLEANING function: pressing this button while the machine is working will force BRAZIER CLEANING.
When OFF, activating this function will put the machine into FINAL CLEANING. From the state of FINAL CLEANING,
if this button is pressed again it will discharge the FINAL CLEANING timer thus leaving intact the safety checks on the
flue gas temperature.
P8 - TURBO function: like the QUICK function with the difference that the heater does not modulate P1 power with
set ambient or set water satisfied but modulates only in the flue gas safety condition.
4.7.1 Replacing the battery
The remote control is powered by a 3-volt CR2025 type battery located in the bottom of the device. For its insertion
and possible replacement, proceed as follows:
- operate the lever indicated;
- pull out the battery tray completely and replace the battery (3-volt CR2025 model)
respecting the polarity;
- insert the tray;
- check proper operation with the unit running.
- Keep the remote control away from direct heat sources and water.
- The batteries of the remote control must be replaced and disposed of separately
in special containers in a safe way in accordance with local environmental regulations.
4.8 Hot air outlet flow adjustment
The MIMOSA stove has a centrifugal fan for heat exchange with the combustion chamber, allowing the flow of hot
air to be conveyed frontally to the stove and/or at the top in ducting as described in par. 1.4; the hot air flow
direction is controlled manually by an internal valve with a lever and rod with knob.
The hot air flow depends on the choice of outlets and stove output; level 5 gives the maximum fan speed with
maximum flow of hot air.
The stove can convey the hot air flows entirely or partially to the front upper grille or the top grille and in the
connection of the ducting system by means of a valve controlled manually with a lever and rod; the rod, provided
with a knob, has 3 reference notches for selecting the hot air flow direction as shown in the figure.
Any modifications must be done by authorised and competent personnel; changes made at random can
cause serious damage to the stove, for which the manifacturer declines any liability.
