4. Screw the stand brackets (22) into the rear legs
(19) using the drill holes. Assembly material for
each: 2 carriage bolts (b), the washers (c), the
spring washers (d) and the nuts (e) (Fig. 9).
5. Caution! Both stand brackets must be attached to the
rear of the machine at attachment points (23)! (Fig. 5).
6. Loosely tighten the table width extender (6) and
table extension (6a) on the saw table (1) using the
hexagon bolts with Phillips head (f). (Fig. 11).
7. Loosely tighten the table supports (24,24a) on the
housing of the circular table saw. Use the hexa-
gon screws (a), hexagon screws (f), washers (c)
and nuts (e).
8. Screw the four legs (19) and the table supports
(24,24a) onto the housing.
9. Align the table width and length extension lush
with the saw table.
10. Next, tighten all the screws of the legs (19) and
the table width extender (6).
11. Now attach the rubber feet (21) to the legs (19)
(Fig. 8).
12. Place the table circular saw on the base frame (11).
13. Fasten the screws and nuts (g) to the table exten-
sion and table width extender. Use the eyelets on
the dustbag to hang it on the screws (g). (Fig. 11)
Mounting / adjusting the Riving Knife
Insert the battery (Figures 15-20)
Caution! Remove the mains plug! The setting of
the saw blade (4) must be checked whenever a
blade has been replaced.
1. Inserting the batteries (Figure 15):
- Turn the laser on/off switch (33) to the 0 position
(laser off).
- Remove the battery compartment cover (35), by
loosening the screw (34). Now remove the battery
compartment cover (35) by bending at the side.
- Insert the batteries supplied (type AAA), ensur-
ing the correct polarity (see Figure 15).
- Put the battery compartment cover (35) back in
position and tighten it with the screw (34).
• Notes concerning the batteries:
- If you are not going to use the laser for a pro-
longed period, please remove the batteries from
the battery compartment. Otherwise, the leaking
of battery luid might damage the device.
- Do not place the batteries on radiators or
expose them for a prolonged period to strong
sunlight; temperatures above 45 ° could damage
the device.
2. Initial mounting of the laser module:
- Mount the laser using the two Phillips head
screws (z), Fig. 15.
3. Adjust the saw blade (4) to a max. cutting depth,
move to the 0° position and lock in place.
4. Dismantle the saw blade guard (2) (not during in-
itial assembly).

5. Release the two attachment bolts (25) and re-
move the table insert (5).
6. Loosen the fixing screw (26) (use the open-ended
spanner AF8 supplied).
7. Push the riving knife (3) upwards.
8. The distance between the saw blade (4) and riv-
ing knife (3) should be between 3 mm and max. 5
mm, (Figure. 18)
9. Retighten the attachment bolts (26) and mount
the table insert (5).
10. Mount the saw blade guard (2) with the screw and
knurled nut and flat washer (27).
Mounting / dismounting the Saw Blade Guard
(Fig. 19)
On irst assembly, the assembly of the saw blade
protection has already been carried out in the
previous assembly step.
1. Loosen the knurled nut and wing nut (27) of the
saw blade guard (2). Place the saw blade guard
(2) from the top onto the riving knife (3).
2. Mount the bolt with the knurled nut and washer
(27) so that the bolt sits irmly in the slot.
3. Do not overtighten the bolt (27) The saw blade
guard must be able to move freely.
4. Dismantling is carried out in reverse order. Cau-
tion! Before you start sawing, the saw blade guard
(2) has to be lowered onto the item being sawn.
Replacing the Table Insert (Fig.20)
1. If it is worn or damaged, the table insert (5) has to
be replaced, as otherwise there is an increased
risk of injury.
2. Remove the screw (25) using a slotted screwdriver.
3. Take out the table insert (5).
4. The new table insert is mounted in reverse order.
Attaching/changing the Saw Blade (Fig. 20,21)
1. Caution! Remove the mains plug and wear
protective gloves.
2. Dismantle the saw blade guard (2).
3. Remove the table insert (5) by releasing the two
countersunk screws (25).
4. Place the hexagon socket key (J) (HX 6) on the
bolt and use the jaw spanner (H) (SW 22) to stop
the motor spindle from turning.
5. Caution! Turn the bolt in the direction of rotation
of the saw blade. Remove the loosened screw.
6. Remove the outer lange and take the old saw
blade off the inner lange by pulling downwards
and diagonally
7. Clean the saw blade langes carefully with a wire
brush before attaching the new saw blade..
8. Insert and tighten the new saw blade in reverse order.
Caution! Note the direction of motion; the
slope of the cutting edge of the teeth must
face the direction of motion, i.e. forwards
(see the arrow on the saw blade guard.
