Starting the booster mode
1. Select a cooking zone.
2. Use the up button to increase the power level until the operation indicator shows P.
The booster mode now works for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, the power level returns to 9.
Stopping the booster mode
1. Use the down button to decrease the power level. The operation indicator shows the set power level.
USING THE PAUSE MODE
1. Touch the pause button to start the pause mode. The operation indicator shows II.
The power level of the cooking zone is now reduced.
2. Touch the pause button again to stop the pause mode.
The power level of the cooking zone is now set to the previously selected power level.
USING THE BRIDGE MODE
In the bridge mode you can connect two cooking zones to create a larger cooking zone.
Note:
You cannot use the booster mode during bridge mode.
Note:
Only the two left cooking zones can be connected.
Starting the bridge mode
1. Select a cooking zone.
2. Touch the bridge mode button to connect the cooking zones. The operation indicator shows n for the rear
cooking zone and 0 for the front cooking zone.
3. Use the up button and the down button of the front cooking zone to select the power level. The operation
indicator shows the set power level.
Stopping the bridge mode
1. Touch the bridge mode button to disconnect the cooking zones. The operation indicator shows H or 0.
USING THE KEEP-WARM MODE
In the keep-warm mode, the temperature of the cooking zone will be kept at 70 °C.
Note:
The keep-warm mode will be active for a maximum of 2 hours.
Starting the keep-warm mode
1. Select a cooking zone.
2. Touch the keep-warm mode button to start the keep-warm mode. The operation indicator shows -.
Stopping the keep-warm mode
1. Stop the keep-warm mode with one of these procedures:
a. Use the up button or the down button to change the power level. The operation indicator shows the set
power level.
b. Touch the keep-warm mode button to stop the keep-warm mode. The operation indicator shows H.
LOCKING THE APPLIANCE
When the appliance is locked, you cannot operate the touch buttons.
1. Make sure that the appliance is on.
2. Touch and hold the pause button.
