3. Touch the memory button three times. The operation indicator shows L when the appliance is locked.
4. Repeat the procedure to unlock the appliance.
USING THE TIMER
Note:
You can use the timer with different settings simultaneously for more than one cooking zone.
Note:
When the timer finishes, the timer display blinks 00 and you hear a sound signal.
Starting the timer
1. Select a cooking zone.
2. Use the up button or the down button to set the power level.
3. Touch and hold the selection/timer button for 3 seconds to start the timer mode. The timer display shows 00.
4. Use the up button to increase the time. The timer display shows the set time
5. Use the down button to decrease the time. The timer display shows the set time.
6. When the timer is set, the timer indicator stops blinking.
7. Repeat the procedure for another cooking zone.
Stopping the timer
1. Select a cooking zone.
2. Touch and hold the selection/timer button for 3 seconds. The timer display shows the re-maining time.
3. Use the down button to stop the timer mode. The timer display briefly shows 00 before it goes off.
4. Repeat this procedure for another cooking zone.
USING THE AUTOMATIC COOKING MODE
The cooking zones have an automatic cooking mode. In automatic cooking mode, the cooking zone starts operating
at full power. After a set amount of time, the cooking zones will automatically reduce to a set power level.
Starting the automatic cooking mode
1. Select a cooking zone.
2. Touch the pause button to start the automatic cooking mode. The operation indicator switches between 0 and
A.
3. Use the up button to set the power level. The operation indicator switches between the set power level and A.
Stopping the automatic cooking mode
1. Select a cooking zone.
2. Touch the pause button to stop the automatic cooking mode. The operation indicator shows the set power level.
RECALLING THE LAST SAVED SETTINGS
After you switch off the appliance, it is possible to recall the last saved settings. You can recall the power level of a
cooking zone, the set timer and the set keep-warm mode.
1. Start the appliance.
2. Touch the pause button within 6 seconds to recall the last saved settings.
USING THE MEMORY MODE
In the memory mode you can save settings for a cooking zone. You can save the power level of a cooking zone, a
set timer, a set keep-warm mode and a set automatic cooking mode.
Creating memory settings
1. Select a cooking zone.
2. Select the power level, timer or mode you wish to save.
3. Touch the memory button. You hear a sound signal.
