7.1 Before starting work

• Check the device to make sure that it is
functioning before starting work.

fi rmly fi xed in the handle fi ttings.
• Check the sweeping container to make sure it
is fi rmly fi xed and in good condition.
• Check the plate brooms and the fi ne dust
sweeping roller for bits of wood, rolled up
threads and cords, and materials with long
strands. Remove these if necessary.
