fanw
Jumper settings (see fig. 2)
Three different inputs can be selected
using the jumper.
Perilex input (factory setting);
External 0-10 Volt signal. This signal
can be connected to the clamps desi-
gnated 0-10V/GND/10V (fig. 6);
RF (cordless radio-controlled remo-
te). The Zehnder - J.E. StorkAir (RFZ)
switch, receiver/raised PCB, can be
supplied for this.
Dipswitch settings (see fig. 3)
Nine capacity ranges can be selected
using the dipswitch.
Low setting - no choice;
Medium setting - choice of 4 ranges;
High setting - choice of 4 ranges;
Perilex jumper settings (see fig. 2)
Controlled via perilex input
0-10Volt input
Place the jumper in the setting given be-
low (see fig. 2)
For variable control, set DIP 5 to On;
For control in three positions, set DIP5
to Off. (table DIP1 to 4 are used);
<5Volt is low;
Between 5Volt and 9Volt is medium;
Higher than 9Volt is high.
RF (optional)
Set the jumper to the setting given below
(see fig. 2)
Fit the RF raised PCB (see fig. 7)
11.1 More air in high setting
(AC fan)
The condenser module used has been
designed to allow selection of two venti-
lation levels with the highest fan setting:
"High" and "Maximum", if a greater venti-
lation capacity is required of the unit (e.g.
if the ducting has a higher resistance),
then maximum power can be set very ea-
sily. As standard, the unit is set to "Low",
"Medium" and "High". The modification is
carried out as follows:
Switch off the unit using the ope-
rating switch.
Dismantling:
1 Unscrew the M5 hex bolt (fig. 4 pos. 1)
and remove the air cap and cover from
the fan.
2 Remove the cap from the condenser
module.
3 Turn the condenser module to allow
access to the connector.
4 Remove the wire (grey) from connector
"L1" and insert it into connector "U1",
(see diagram fig. 5).
Assembly:
1 Ensure that parts under the cover are
correctly assembled and do not extend
above the rim.
2 Replace the cover and the air cap and
retighten the M5 hex bolt (fig. 4 pos. 1).
3 Turn the fan back on using the opera-
ting switch and check whether it works
properly.
