Vacuum
– Use this button to set the extraction speed to Normal or to Gentle. A green
light lights up next to the setting you chose, the standard setting is Gentle.
Gentle: Choose Gentle if you want the extraction speed to be gentle during
the vacuuming process, e.g. when handling pressure-sensitive foods. Gentle
is the standard setting that lights up once the appliance is plugged in. It is
suitable for all sensitive foods.
Normal: Choose Normal if you want the extraction speed to be rather high
when vacuuming. Normal is suitable for all less sensitive foods.

Food
– With this button you can adjust the sealing process to vacuum sealing dry or
wet foods. The green light illuminates when the corresponding function is
selected, the standard setting is Dry.
Dry: Select Dry if you wish to seal dry foods. Dry is the standard setting that
illuminates once the appliance is plugged in.
Moist: Select Moist if you wish to seal moist foods like e.g. fresh meat.
K
Weld
– The Weld function allows you to choose between a single and a double weld.
Single: Only one weld is applied, which is enough for classic, dry foods.
Double: Two welds are applied, meaning the seal will hold even better.
Recommended for vacuum sealing moist foods.
L
Pulse Blow
– The blowing function Pulse Blow blows air into the bag for as long as you
touch the button. You can either touch the button until enough air is in the
bag and then touch the Manual Seal button to seal the bag or touch the
button for 90 seconds until the blowing process stops automatically. The
appliance will then seal the bag automatically. Use the Pulse Blow function
to make air cushion bags, e.g. for storing or mailing fragile items. The stand-
ard weld setting in the Pulse Blow function is the Single weld. Even if the
appliance has been previously set to Double, it will automatically switch back
to Single if the Pulse Blow button is touched.

In general, please note:
– Always make the desired settings before placing the bag end in the
vacuum bay.
– To start the automatic vacuuming and sealing process resp. the sealing
process, the bag end has to be pushed all the way into the vacuum
bay. Then, select the desired function and activate it by pushing the
lever for starting and locking down. The Pulse Vacuum and Pulse Blow
functions are started by touching the corresponding buttons.
– When a selected function has been finished and all six dots on the pro-
gress indicator light up, it roughly takes 3 more seconds for the vacuum
to be lifted and a signal to sound. Only then can you remove the bag
resp. take off the air extraction hose.
– Please note that it takes roughly 3 seconds for the buttons to respond
and the appliance to become operational again after a process has
been regularly completed or manually cancelled.
– All LEDs on the control panel go out three minutes after the last func-
tion has been used. Touch any button to reactivate them.
