Step 7
You can now remotely control the lamp connected to the LM12:
• Press the Marmitek X-10 button (home).
• Press button 3.
• Press ON (Channel +).
• The lamp connected to the LM12 will switch on.
• Press DIM and keep the button pressed for a few seconds (Volume -).
• The lamp dims.
• Press OFF (Channel -).
• The lamp is switched off.
Step 8
You can now install any other LM12 and AM12 Modules from your starter set. Use a differ-
ent UnitCode for each module (i.e. LM12 UnitCode 4 and AM12* UnitCode 5).

Installing the PC interface and ActiveHome software

2. Plug the lamp into the Module (min. 40W – max. 300W).
3. Plug the Module into a wall socket.
1. Make sure your computer is turned off.
2. Plug in the 9-pin plug of the connecting cable into a free COM
port on your computer.
3. Unwrap the Interface supplied (Marmitek X-10 Model CM11)
4. Connect the small RJ11 plug to the Interface by inserting the
plug into the chassis part on top of the Module.
5. Plug the Interface into a wall socket that can NOT be switched
off and that is not equipped with an interference filter.
6. You can connect the PC power cable to the Interface. The
power will then be fed through the plug of the Interface.
