Intended use
The unit is intended exclusively for replacing brake fluid and bleeding brake and clutch systems on motor
vehicles. Any other type of use going beyond this is not intended.
Operating Principle
Brake fluid is taken from the original canister by a pump. The fluid is pumped into the brake fluid reservoir
continuously at a pressure of up to 3.5 bars. The old fluid can be drained at the individual wheel brake
cylinders until new brake fluid exits. In comparison to conventional systems this eliminates filling the fluid from
one container to another preventing the brake fluid from thus absorbing water.
Start-up
Observe line voltage:
Ensure that the line voltage coincides with the specifications on the unit rating plate. Units marked for
operation with 230V can also be operated on 220V.
- The unit should be operated only with brake fluid. We cannot assume any guarantee or liability for damage
resulting from use of other fluids.
- Never connect the filling hose to compressed air; this would destroy the unit. We cannot assume any
guarantee for such damage.
- Place the brake fluid canister in the receptacle provided for this purpose.
- Unscrew the cover from the canister and insert the suction tube 8 into it until the tube touches the canister
bottom. Now press the rubber cone firmly into the threaded neck..
Using for the first time
- First it is necessary to bleed the air out of the unit:
1. Attach the adapter to filling hose 1 only, not to a vehicle and hold over a catch reservoir.
2. Switch on the unit (move power switch to <<ON>> position) and press start button 4 (pump starts
pumping).
3. Hold the adapter over the catch reservoir until no more bubbles are present in the brake fluid exiting.
4. Disconnect the adapter with the pump still running and switch off the unit immediately (move power switch
5 to <<OFF>> position).
