SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Read this manual carefully.
• WARNING! Protect yourself from inhaling dust by
respecting the rules of workplace hygiene.
• For your personal safety, the machine must be con-
nected only to a mains supply equipped with a circuit
breaker and a residual current device, in accordance
with the regulations for low voltage electrical systems.
• Do not pierce the machine casing, otherwise you will
damage the protective insulation (use adhesive labels).
• Check the work surface with a metal detector, because
there may be hidden electrical wires or gas and/or hy-
draulic pipes.
• Always unplug the machine before carrying out any
work on it.
• Always turn off the machine by switching it off, not by
unplugging it.
• WARNING! Before each use, check the condition of
plug and power cable of your machine. If they are dam-
aged, have them replaced by an authorized service
centre.
• Always keep the power cable away from the working
range of the machine.
• Connect the machine to the power supply only with the
switch in OFF position.
• The machine must be always used with the auxiliary
hand grip installed.
• Firmly hold the machine with both hands and remaining
in a stable position.
• Make sure that the size of the cylindrical brush is
compatible with the sanding machine.
• The cylindrical brushes must be used and stored care-
fully, following the manufacturer's instructions.
• Protect the tool from shocks, collisions and grease.
• Carefully check the cylindrical brush to make sure it is
not damaged.
• Replace the cylindrical brush if it is damaged.
• Make sure that the cylindrical brushes are installed
following the manufacturer's instructions.
• Ensure that the abrasive has been properly set and
secured, before using the machine. Start the machine
and let it run idle for 30 seconds in a safe position; if
you notice significant vibrations or other abnormalities,
turn it off immediately. This may indicate an incorrect
assembling or an abrasive product not properly bal-
anced.
• Use only drive flanges or plates specific for this tool. Do
not use separate reducing tubes or adapters to fit cylin-
drical brushes with larger holes.
• This machine has been designed to work with cylindri-
cal brushes of 19 mm internal diameter
• Check the correct grip of the piece you have to work,
before doing any sanding.
