Operation:
Hold cartridge and unscrew the cap.
Remove the safety red insert.
Screw on the mixer tightly. Use only Hilti HIT-M2
mixers.
Press locking lever on dispenser while pulling back
piston rods as far as it will go.
Put Hilti HIT-ICE cartridge with attached mixer into
the MD1000 dispenser.
Discard the first 2 trigger pulls of adhesive mor-
tar from the mixer, as it is not suitable for making
fastenings. Likewise, after changing a mixer, the
first trigger pull should be discarded.
The hole must be filled with mortar without forming
air pockets. To achieve this, insert the mixer as far
as the base of the hole (use an extension for deep
holes) and slowly withdraw the mixer, step by step,
after each pull of the trigger. Refer to Hilti literature
for specific setting details.
Press the locking lever after the hole has been filled
with mortar. This releases the pressure on the car-
tridge and no further adhesive mortar flows from
the mixer.
To remove the cartridge from the dispenser the pis-
ton rods must be first pulled into the rearmost posi-
tion while pressing the locking lever.
G The mixer must be changed after the gel time has
elapsed.
G Always release the locking lever before changing mix-
ers.
