PRE-OPERATION CHECK
Check the snowblower on level ground with the engine stopped.
To prevent accidental start-up, remove the engine switch key, and
disconnect the spark plug cap before performing the pre-operation
check.
Do not overfill the fuel tank (there should be no fuel in the filler neck).
After refueling, make sure the fuel tank cap is closed properly and
securely.
Fuel level
Inspection:
Check whether the fuel gauge needle is in the FULL position.
If the needle is not in the position, fill the fuel tank to the level shown.
Refilling:
Remove the fuel tank cap and fill the tank with the recommended
gasoline.
Do not fill the fuel tank completely. Fill tank to approximately
35 mm (1.4 in) below the top of the fuel tank to allow for fuel
expansion.
After refueling, make sure the fuel tank cap is closed properly and
securely.

Use unleaded gasoline with a Research Octane Number of 91 or
higher (a Pump Octane Number of 86 or higher).
Never use stale or contaminated gasoline or an oil/gasoline mixture.
Avoid getting dirt or water in the fuel tank.
