Battery removal/installation
Batteries produce explosive gases: If ignited, an explosion can
cause serious injury or blindness. Provide adequate ventilation
when charging.
CHEMICAL HAZARD: Battery electrolyte contains sulfuric acid.
Contact with eyes or skin, even through clothing, may cause severe
burns. Wear a faceshield and protective clothing.
Keep flames and sparks away, and do not smoke in the area.
ANTIDOTE: If electrolyte gets into your eyes, flush throughly with
warm water for at least 15 minutes and call a physician
immediately.
POISON: Electrolyte is poison.

External: Flush throughly with water.

Internal: Drink large quantities of water or milk.
Follow with milk of magnesia or vegetable oil, and call a
physician immediately.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
Battery removal:
1.
Remove the chute.
2.
Remove the main fender.
3.
Disconnect the negative ( ) cable from the battery negative ( )
terminal; then disconnect the positive ( ) cable from the battery
+
positive ( ) terminal.
4.
Loosen the nuts, and pull off the battery holder from the battery.
Battery installation:
1.
Set the battery.
2.
Set the battery holder and tighten the nuts.
3.
Connect the positive ( ) cable to the battery positive ( ) terminal,
then connect the negative ( ) cable to the battery negative ( )
terminal.
4.
Reinstall the main fender.
5.
Reinstall the chute.
