When the engine will not start:
1. Is there enough fuel?
2. Is the fuel valve on?
3. Is gasoline reaching the carburetor?
To check, loosen the drain knob with the fuel valve on. Fuel should
flow freely.
Gasoline is extremely flammable, and gasoline vapor can explode.
If any fuel is spilled, make sure the area is dry before starting the
engine. Spilled fuel or fuel vapor may ignite.
4. Is the engine switch on?
5. Check the spark plug for dirt, wet and the gap.
Clean the spark plug.

Reinstall the plug if it is reused, or replace with a new one.

6. If the engine still does not start, take the snowblower to an
authorized Honda dealer.
When the auger does not operate:
Check the auger lock bolts and replace if broken off with the wrench
handle.
Secure the auger lock bolts with 6 mm nuts.
Spare auger lock bolts and nuts are supplied with the snowblower.
AUGER LOCK BOLT (2)
When the blower does not operate:
Check the blower lock bolt and replace if broken off with the wrench
handle.
Secure the blower lock bolt with 8 mm nut.
A new blower lock bolt and nut are available from authorized Honda
dealer.
