Switching map

After passing each location described in the
guidance, it is necessary to switch manually to
the next guidance screen. The previous screen
can also be accessed manually and confirmed.
The system can be set to automatically switch
the map when an optional GPS unit is connected.
(For details, refer to "Automatic map-switching"
on page 59.)
Press the [SELECT] (Upper/Lower)

The display switches between the
guidance point map and the guidance
point route map each time the button is
pressed.
The text information scroll display will
appear when switching
guidance point map. After the display
has scrolled through
information, the current point name
and distance to the guidance point will
be fixed on the display.

The scroll display can be set to show text
information that has been previously displayed.

Displaying POI vicinity

POIs can be displayed if POI information has
been downloaded from the E-iSERV website
along with map data. Up to 5 POIs can be
displayed on a single guidance point map.

Selecting POI category

A single POI category, such as bank or food
shop, can be set to be display, when AREA
SHOT mode is activated.
