After the operating voltage is switched on, the extinguished red LEDs indicate error-free operation. If one of
the sensors is now actuated, the LED that corresponds to this channel illuminates and the respective relays
switch. The relays interrupt the control circuit as long as the sensor is actuated.

7. Troubleshooting

An error can be localised in the system with the aid of the LEDs. Only the green Power LED may illuminate
if the supply voltage has been correctly connected. If the red Stationary Opening LED or the red Stationary
Closing LED illuminates, the connections of the sensor(s) should be checked (for serial connection of multiple
sensors). If the error is not at the connections, the function of the electronics can be tested by connecting
an 8.2 k� resistor to the respective sensor input on the switching unit. If the electronics work perfectly after
performing the test, the sensors must be checked using an ohmmeter. To do this, the connection of the
sensor to the safety relay must be disconnected and connected to an ohmmeter. The resistance must be
8.2 k� ±500 � when the sensor is inactive and must not exceed 500 � when the sensor is active.
