WARNING
The unit uses dangerous mains voltage.
Leave servicing to skilled personnel
only; inexpert handling may result in
electric shock.
Please observe the following items in any case:
The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it

against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity and heat (admissible ambient temperature
range 0 – 40 °C).
Do not place any vessel filled with liquid on the unit,

e. g. a drinking glass.
Do not operate the unit and immediately disconnect
G
the mains plug from the socket
1. if the unit or the mains cable is visibly damaged,
2. if a defect might have occurred after the unit was
dropped or suffered a similar accident,
3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case the unit must be repaired by skilled per-
sonnel.
Never pull the mains cable for disconnecting the

mains plug from the socket, always seize the plug.
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use

water or chemicals.
No guarantee claims for the unit and no liability for

any resulting personal damage or material damage
will be accepted if the unit is used for other purposes
than originally intended, if it is not safely mounted or
not correctly operated, or if it is not repaired in an
expert way.
3 Applications
This light effect unit is suited for applications on stage,
in discotheques or for decoration purposes. It will cre-
ate coloured light changes via 144 super bright LEDs
lighting in blue, red, green and combinations of these
colours. It allows running light effects and stroboscopic
effects and also music-controlled change of colour via
the integrated microphone. Most impressive are the
running light effects extending over several units which
have been interconnected.
RGBL-100C is available. It will also allow integration of
the units into a DMX-controlled lighting system.
4 Mounting
Mount the unit to a wall or ceiling with the screws via
the mounting brackets (1).

5 Setting the Light Effect Unit
WARNING
Connect a mains cable with IEC inline jack (IEC-60320
C13), e. g. AAC-182/SW from MONACOR, to the IEC
plug (4); connect the plug of the mains cable to a mains
socket (230 V~/50 Hz). Thus, the unit is switched on.
To switch it off, disconnect the mains plug.

Caution: Never connect the light effect unit to the
mains voltage via a dimmer!
5.1 Interconnecting several units
It is possible to connect several units of RGBL-100T in
a chain in order to change the colours in sync, to cre-
ate running light effects extending over several units or
to control all slave units to the same rhythm via the
integrated microphone of the master unit.

If the unit is to be put out of operation defini-

disposal which is not harmful to the environ-
ment.
