Objective of the game
The purpose of the game is to shoot a specific
number of balls into the opponent's goal using
the player figures mounted on rotatable handles.
Rules of the game
• One set consists of a minimum of 6 and a
maximum of 10 goals.
• After a set is over, switch sides. Both players/
teams may prefer not to switch sides
• The doubles team whose turn it is to put the
ball into play is first to decide on the position
of the players. Each player uses 2 rods to play
and must stay in his/her position during the
game.
• If only 2 players are playing against each
other, each player plays using all the rods on
his/her own side.
Game
1. Toss a coin to determine which player or
which team begins first.
2. If it's your turn to put the ball in, throw a table
football over the table edge at the midfield
line onto the field of play. The ball is "in
play".
3. Move the ball from row to row by controlling
the respective rod.
4. Pass the ball until you can score a goal.
Note: If the ball crosses the goal line it counts
as a goal even if the ball bounces back onto the
field of play.
Putting the ball into play/Serving
• When the match begins or after a goal is
successfully scored, the ball is put "into play"
over the table edge at the midfield line. The
player putting the ball in may try to influence
the way the ball runs.
• Players are not allowed to reach into the field
of play when the ball is "in play".
• The ball is "in play" as soon as it has touched
the field of play. Only then may the ball be
played.
• The team putting in the ball may not score a
goal before the ball has touched a figure.
• The ball may not be put in until all players
have confirmed that they are ready to play.

Subsequent throw-ins
• Subsequent throw-ins are taken by the team/
player last scored upon.
• In a match of several sets the first throw-in
each time is taken by the losing team.
Ball "in play"
Once the ball has been thrown in it must remain
"in play".
Ball "out of play"
• The ball is out of play if it touches an object
outside the field of play. It is put back into the
game again by the player/team that original-
ly won the toss.
"Dead ball"
• A ball is dead if it stops completely and can-
not be reached by any of the player figures.
• If the ball becomes dead between the goal
and the nearest rod, it is placed in the nearest
corner and rolled onto the field of play.
• If the ball becomes dead between the two
centre rods, it is put back into play over the
table edge at the midfield line by the team
that originally won the toss.
"Time-out"
• Each team/player has two "time-outs" per set.
• A "time-out" may not exceed 30 seconds.
• A "time-out" may be taken only when the ball
is not in motion.
• During the "time-out" it is forbidden to touch
the ball. A violation of this rule leads to loss of
possession of the ball.
• During a "time-out" the players in a team may
swap positions.
Turning the rods
• No spinning the rods. Rotating the player fig-
ure by more than 360°before or after contact
with the ball is against the rules.
• If a ball that is moved by turning the rods goes
into the goal, the goal does not count.
• If an own goal is scored by turning the rods,
the goal counts in favour of the opponent.
Influencing the table
• Shaking or lifting the table is not allowed.
• Touching the opponent's rod is not allowed.
• Passing or shooting with excessive force is not
allowed.
