SIMOVERT MASTERDRIVES
The Compact PLUS type EMC filters consist of a radio-interference
filter with an integrated line commutating reactor. They are for reducing
radio-interference voltages and harmonic currents caused by the
converters or rectifier units which are connected.
If the whole drive system is installed in accordance with EMC
standards, use of this radio-interference filter provides radio-
interference suppression level B in accordance with EN61800-3
(residential areas).
In addition to containing the elements necessary for interference
suppression, the radio interference filters also have a commutating
reactor with a per-unit short-circuit voltage of 2 %. This reduces system
perturbations of the units' B6 input circuit.
