Intended Use
NC2 Dermatoscope
The HEINE NC2 Dermatoscope is an internally powered medical examination light for non-invasive visual
®
inspection of intact skin. The product can be used contactless or in contact with the skin of the patient.
It may be used only by qualified medical personnel in a professional health facility.
NC2 Dermatoscope with "Smartphone Adapter" option
The "Smartphone Adapter" option can be used to mechanically connect a smartphone to the NC2 dermato-
scope. The NC2 App is designed for documentation through the recording, storage and display of images.

Setting up
Charge the instrument fully before first use.
Charging
Use a USB cable to connect the USB connector (6) of the NC2 to a USB power supply (e.g. HEINE
PC or laptop). The battery indicator (7) flashes in green during the charging process. When the indicator is
green permanently, the unit is fully charged. If the indicator is orange, you should recharge your device.
