"upward blow".

6. Installing the unit

• When installing the outdoor unit, secure the legs of the unit with an-
chor bolts.
• Install the outdoor unit firmly so that it does not overturn in case of
earthquakes or gusts.
• Refer to the figure on the right for the concrete foundation.
• Use M10 bolts as anchor bolts. (They must be supplied locally.)
Warning:
• The outdoor unit must be installed in a place strong enough to
withstand its weight. Insufficient strength may cause the unit to
fall, resulting in personal injury.
• Installation must be carried out as specified in the manual sup-
plied with the outdoor unit, with gusts and earthquakes taken
into account. Any deficiency caused by installation may cause
the unit to overturn, resulting in accidents.
1 Prepare the concrete foundation
Always anchor outdoor unit legs by means of bolts. (Procure anchor
bolts locally.)
Secure firmly to prevent overturning by earthquakes or gusts of wind.
Keep the length of foundation bolts up to 25 mm from the bottom side
