• Install the round end of the temperature sensor, e.g. near a floor heating. Place the
connection cable so that it is protected from sharp edges. Never attach the connection
cable with nails or screws, etc.
• Insert the room thermostat in the recessed/top-mounted socket. Fastening must take
place with at least two screws.
When inserting the room thermostat into the recessed/top-mounted socket,
ensure that the cables are not damaged.
• Place the covering frame onto the room thermostat.
• Last, the small cover removed at first must be properly attached so that it latches with
the two lateral plastic tabs.
• Switch on the mains voltage.
• Actuate the broad on/off switch (10) to switch on the room thermostat. The power-LED
(13) must light up. After a brief moment, the temperature measured by the sensor (17)
will also be displayed.
If the Power-LED is not lit, switch off the room thermostat again (the plastic
button of the on/off switch protrudes a little farther from the housing when
switched off than when switched on). Then switch off the mains voltage at all
connections and check the correct connection of the room thermostat.
In doubt, have the connection checked by a specialist (electrical installer).
