4. Intended Use

The room thermostat is intended for installation in a suitable top-mounted or recessed
socket.
It can switch a connected consumer (for max. connectible load, see chapter "Technical
Data") on and off depending on temperature. Temperature measurement takes place
via an external sensor.
The appliance is operated by the touch-sensitive LC display.
There are 4 day settings available with which you can specify the temperature when
waking up, during your absence, at your return and over night.
Additionally, there is a timer function (manual mode) available.
At power outage, a firmly installed NiMH rechargeable battery will ensure retention of data.
The safety notes and all other information in these operating instructions always have
to be observed.
Any other use than that described above is not permitted and will damage the product.
Additionally, this is connected to dangers, such as short circuit, fire, etc.
