Use
Preparing the carpet
1. Thoroughly vacuum clean the carpet to be treated with a vacuum cleaner. Use a brush
adapter for this (if possible).
2. If possible, remove all furniture from the carpet. Place a plastic tarp under or around
the legs of large pieces of furniture that can't be moved aside and only remove the
tarp once the carpet is completely dry after cleaning. Otherwise the wet carpet could
damage the legs.
3. Check the carpet's colour-fastness. Dip a piece of white fabric in the enclosed clean-
ing solution (see section "Preparing the device/fi lling the fresh water tank") and care-
fully rub it on a hidden part of the carpet. If the white fabric does not discolour, you
can clean the carpet with the device. For multicoloured carpets, test every colour for
colour-fastness.
