Opening/Folding (figures B/C)
Your pole can be folded in three sections.
• The direction to turn the pole for opening and folding is indicated on
the pole.
• To open the pole, hold the upper pole segment with one hand so that
the other can be opened by turning it anti-clockwise (figure B).
• Now pull the middle pole segment with one hand until the elastic band
is visible (figure C).
• You can now fold the upper and middle pole segments together.
• Repeat the procedure for the lower end of the pole.

Closing
• Tighten the screw sections securely so that they cannot be turned any
further with normal strength.
Note: After closing please check that the locks hold by
leaning gently on the pole.
Setting the stick length (figures D/E)
Your hiking poles can be adjusted to any length between 110cm and
135cm and should be set in accordance with your height and the type
of use.
1. Open the lock (figure D).
2. Hold the lower end of the pole with one hand and use the other to
pull the pole out to the desired length.
3. If you want to set the pole length to a height of 120cm then fix the
upper pole segment in such a way that the 120cm marking is just
visible and just protrudes from the upper pole segment.
Caution! Never fix the pole length beyond the 'STOP' mark!
4. Close the lock tightly. The lock must be flat against the lock system.
Note: The screw on the lock could loosen! Before each use, please en-
sure that the screw is tight. Turn the lock clockwise to tighten it (figure E).
Caution! The pole will lose stability if the screw is not tightened far
enough!
D
Note: After closing, please check that the locks hold by
