11. Maintenance and Servicing
Depending on the quality of the water, the local conditions and the rules and
regulations applicable on site, the fitting must be maintained and serviced at regular
intervals.
Perform maintenance on the following components:
• Aerators
• Flow rate regulator
Use suitable cleaning agents that are not harmful to the fittings in a proper manner and
rinse with water after use. High-pressure cleaners must not be used for cleaning.
12. Replacing the Flow Rate Regulator
12.1 Loosen the grub screw using a hollow hexagon wrench.
12.2 Pull the wall arm with the head piece from the connection spigot.
12.3 Remove the safety ring with the appropriate pliers for the inner safety rings.
12.4 Pull out the flow rate controller with flat nose pliers.

Important!
Ensure correct installation orientation of the flow rate regulator. The brace must face in
the direction of the head piece.
12.5 Insert the flow rate regulator and secure with the circlip.

12.6 Slide the wall arm with the head piece onto the connection spigot.
12.7 Tighten the grub screw using a hollow hexagon wrench.
13. Replacing an Aerator
13.1 Use the special wrench (a) to loosen the complete aerator.
13.2 Remove the complete aerator from the head piece (b).
13.3 Remove the seal (c).
13.4 Remove the sleeve (d).
13.5 Replace the aerator (e).
13.6 Reassemble in the reverse order.
