3. To view stored measurements, press the ON/OFF Button
to cycle; the memory number is displayed first followed
by the measurement.
4. To proceed with a new measurement, press the START Button; otherwise, press and hold the ON/OFF
button for three seconds to shut the thermometer off.

6. Care and Maintenance

• Protective Covers are intended for a single use only. Discard after each use.
• The sensor is the most sensitive part of the thermometer. Work carefully when clean-
ing the sensor to avoid product damage. Use a clean cloth or cotton swab moistened
with disinfectant, alcohol, or warm water.
• To clean the outer surface of the thermometer, use a soft cloth slightly moistened
with a mild soapy solution.
• Do not use any harsh cleaning products.
• Before prolonged storage, remove the batteries.
• Do not use or store the device in excessively high or low temperature or humidity (see technical data), in
direct sunlight, near an electrical current or in dusty locations.
• Clean the sensor tip after every use. Use a clean cloth or cotton swab that can be moistened with rubbing
alcohol or warm water.
• To clean the device, use a soft, damp cloth and a mild detergent. Ensure water does not get into the
device. If the device does get wet, remove the battery immediately and let dry completely before reuse.
• Never immerse the device in water.
• To protect the sensor tip, always replace protective cap after use.
• When storing the device for an extended period, remove the battery.
