Ansonsten kann es zu falschen Messergebnissen kommen. Die Anwendung des Thermometers an verschiedenen Personen kann bei bestimmten akuten, infektiösen Erkrankungen auf Grund einer möglichen Keimverschleppung trotz der durchzuführenden Reinigung und Wischdesinfektion unzweckmäßig sein.
  • Page 7 6. Benutzung Vergewissern Sie sich immer, dass der Sensor sauber und unbeschädigt ist. Schalten Sie das Gerät ein. 6.1 Messen im Ohr Nach einem kurzen Selbsttest und zwei kurzen Pieptönen ist das Thermometer zum Messen der Tem- peratur im Ohr bereit. Das Infrarot-Thermometer befindet sich im Modus „Ohrthermometer“. Dies ist am Symbol ersichtlich.

    5.2 Batteries The Type 3V CR2032 battery is already fi tted and depending on usage has a life of around 3000 measurements. When the battery gets weak, the battery warning symbol appears . It is still pos- sible to measure the temperature. Battery must be replaced. When the battery symbol fl ashes the battery must be exchanged by sliding the battery compartment cover off to the rear.

    6.2 Saving the temperatures measured The temperature last measured, i.e. only the last temperature of a series measured, is saved automatically as soon as the thermometer is switched off. There are 9 memory locations available for this. You can call up the last temperature measured with the “ ” button. The date and time are also shown.     5. Puesta en operación Este termómetro está diseñado para su empleo en el oído (canal auditivo / tímpano), en principio a partir de los 6 meses de edad. En niños de menos de 6 meses, el canal auditivo es aún muy estrecho, por lo que a menudo no puede captarse la temperatura del tímpano, lo que hace que a menudo se indiquen resultados más bajos de los reales.
