Notes for use when measuring material moisture levels:
For the rapid determination of material moisture no further adjustments
to the instrument are required. In the assessment of the measured
results it must however be taken into account that increased levels of
soluble salts present in the material can falsify the results obtained.
The higher the level of salts, the higher the measured values. Exact
statements on the moisture content of materials containing minerals are
only possible by applying the kiln drying method or the CM method.
