reset?) appears on the display . Press the red button
for "yes" and the blue button for "no" .

itself on again .

Background lighting

You can switch the background lighting on or off in
the menu or, during a measurement, by pressing the
blue button .

Statistical display

You can choose between 4 displays in the menu:
Average value (Avg), maximum, minimum and stan-
dard deviation (Sdev .) . The selected display appears
at the bottom right of the display . At the same time,
the statistics for the measured values appear at the
bottom left of the display . Go to the menu and select
"Statistics view" in order to see all statistical values
for the respective group .
Measurement view
Go to the menu and select "Measurement view" in order
to see all measured values for the respective groups .

Automatic power-off

Automatic power-off can be deactivated in the menu .
Otherwise the device switches itself off after approx .
3 minutes of inactivity .

Measurements, storage and data processing in

DIRECT and GROUP mode

The measuring instrument provides two mode of ope-
ration: DIRECT and GROUP mode . The GROUP mode
includes GRO 1~4.
• T he direct mode is intended for fast, uncomplicated
measurements . The individual measurements are
stored temporarily during a series of measurements,
but are deleted as soon as the measuring instrument
switches off or if the mode is changed from direct
to group . Both the measured values and the stati-
stical values can be read off from the well-arranged
display . The statistical analysis program can evaluate

up to 80 measurements . As soon as the memory is
full, the old measured values are overwritten by the
new measured values, starting with the oldest . In
this mode, individual calibration values and limit va-
lues can be determined and entered .
• In group mode, each group memory can store a ma-
ximum of 80 individual measurements and 5 sta-
tistical measurements . Calibration and limit values
can be set and stored individually for each group .
Although measurements are performed in order
once the memory is full, no measured values are
stored and the statistical values remain unchanged .
You can also delete the group data and the statistical
values and redefine the calibration and limit values .
In order to be able to work in group mode, e . g . in
order to perform calibrations and measurements
and to set limit values, "grOx" must first appear
on the display . If this is not the case, measuring
mode can also be selected in the menu (menu
-> options -> working mode) .
• P ress the
button and hold the sensor in the air .
The measuring instrument starts as standard in
DIRECT mode .
