Cleaning and Storage

CAUTION!
❐ Remove the mains plug from the socket before cleaning the device.
❐ Never immerse the device, the cable or the mains plug in water.
❐ Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device. These can damage
the surface.
1. Make sure that the device and the fat collecting tray have completely cooled down and the
device is switched off!
2. Clean the device housing and the grill plates using a slightly damp cloth and a little mild de-
tergent. Then dry the device with a soft tea towel.
3. Clean the fat collecting tray with warm water and mild detergent.
4. Dry the device and the fat collecting tray thoroughly before you store them away.

Troubleshooting

If the device is not working properly, please check fi rst of all whether you can rectify a problem
yourself. Otherwise you should contact the customer service department. Do not attempt to
repair a defective device yourself!

Disposal

The packaging material is recyclable. Please dispose of the packaging in an environmen-
tally friendly manner and take it to a recycling centre.
Possible cause/solution
• Is the mains plug correctly inserted into the socket?
• Is the plug socket defective? Try another plug socket.
• Check the fuse of your mains connection.
• During the grilling process, the control lamp may light up
and then go out again. When the control lamp lights up,
this means that the device is heating again in order to main-
tain a constant temperature. This is not a malfunction.
