1. Prepare the food as desired. A few recipesuggestions can be found later on in this
guide.

5. Allow the device to heat up. During heating, the warning light comes on.
6. If the warning light has gone out, place the food to be grilled on the grill plate (8).
7. After a while, turn the food over. When it has been suffi ciently cooked and has
reached the desired colour, remove from the grill plate.
8. Switch off the device after use (set the thermostat knob to position 0) and remove
the mains plug from the socket.
Cleaning and storage
OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING!

The device and the grill plate are not dishwasher safe!
■
Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaners, cleansing sprays or rough sponges or
knives for cleaning. These can damage the surface.
1. Make sure that the device is completely cooled and disconnected from the power
supply!
2. Disassemble the cooled device (see "Assembly"). Empty the drip tray (2).
3. Clean the grill plate (8) with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Make sure that no
water gets into the thermostat socket (7)!
4. If necessary, wipe the thermostat (4) with a soft, damp cloth.
5. Clean the drip tray and frame (3) with warm water and some detergent if necessary.
6. Dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling and storing.
7. Check the connecting cable regularly for damage. Never wrap it tightly around the
device (risk of cable breakage).
8. Store the device in a dry, clean, frost-free place away from direct sunlight and keep
out of reach of children and animals.
2. Turn the thermostat knob (10) to 0.
3. Connect the plug to an easily accessible socket.
4. Set the desired temperature level with the thermostat
knob: Turn the temperature level number to the warning
light (9). There are 5 temperature levels:
