D ishwashers may occasionally exhibit problems that are
T r o u b l e s h o o t i n g
unrelated to a malfunction of the dishwasher itself. The
following information may help you with a dishwasher
problem without involving a repair professional.
Note: If the appliance stops during dishwashing or does
not start for any obvious reason, first run the cancel
wash cycle function (Reset).
Fault
Error code ":‚‰ is lit.
Error code ":‹ˆ is lit.
Error code ":‚ƒ is lit.
Error code ":ƒƒ is lit.

Cause
Supply hose kinked.
Tap turned off.
Tap jammed or calcified.
Filter in the water supply blocked.
Intake opening (on right inside of
appliance) covered by dishes.
Heating element calcified or soiled.
Filters 1Z are soiled or blocked.

Improper repairs or use of non-original
replacement parts may cause considerable
damage and put the user at considerable risk!
Always have repairs carried out by authorized
technicians. If a component has to be replaced,
always use original replacement parts.
Error message
Some faults are indicated at the top of the display
window @ and on the front display * ): and possible
remedies are offered (for example Filter system soiled
(E22) -->Clean filters).

Install supply hose without kinks.
Turn on the tap.
Turn on the tap.
Flow rate must be min. 10 l/min. when water
supply is open.
Switch off the appliance and pull out the
mains plug. Turn off the tap. Unscrew water
connection.
Clean filter in the supply hose. Screw water
connection on again. Check for leaks.
Reconnect power supply. Switch on the
appliance.
Arrange dishes so that the intake opening is
not obstructed.
Clean appliance with dishwasher cleaning
agent or descaler. Operate the dishwasher
with water softening system and check the
setting.
Clean filters.
