 Do not use any inflammable or explosive liquids or mixtures!
 Do not use any strong, corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean surfaces.
 Only carry the unit from A to B when wearing safety shoes - preferably in twos!

3. Storage and transportation guidelines

The milling unit BF 2 must be stored in the original packaging and in dry rooms. Units are also shipped in
the original packaging since damage to the unit caused by a different packaging will be at the expense of
the shipper.

4. Waste disposal

The machine should be disposed of in accordance with the usual legal regulations for the disposal of waste
electronic equipment in the country in question (e.g.: recycling centre, Recycling plant).

5. Start-up

Check the machine for any transport damage as soon as it is removed from the packaging. Report any trans-
port damage to bredent or an authorised dealer immediately. The milling machine BF 2 may only be used by
qualified personnel, such as dental technicians and dentists, or by persons being instructed and supervised by
such qualified personnel. Check whether the network data complies with the data on the type-plate. Please
read the operation and maintenance instructions and especially the risks and safety information regarding as-
sembly, list of device functions and components through carefully before connecting the device to the mains!

5.1 Assembly

 The milling machine must be assembled before it is started up for the first time. A suitable Allen key (A) has
been enclosed for this purpose.
 Using the Allen key (A) and the Allen screw, tighten the micrometer screw (1) on the top right on the vertical
slides of the spindle receptacle holder (27).
 Guide the cable of the milling spindle on the milling arm through the cable receptacle (21), insert it into
the 3-pole socket (23) on the back of the milling machine in order to connect the milling spindle and screw
it in.

5.2 Lists of machine functions and components
