9. Disposal
9.1 General
Please dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory requirements.
9.2 Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
You, as the end customer, are legally obliged (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries and
rechargeable batteries. Disposal in the household waste is prohibited.
Batteries containing hazardous substances are labelled with the symbols shown to the left.
These symbols indicate that disposal of these batteries in the household rubbish is prohib-
ited. The designations for the decisive heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb
= lead.
You can hand in your used batteries/rechargeable batteries at the official collection points of
your community at no cost or everywhere where batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to protecting the environment!
