The relay contact „INCALL" (5) can be activated with a call. The relay contacts
„SMS1-4" (6) can be activated via SMS.

6. Software control module
Do not insert the SIM card yet!
Do not yet connect the GSM module with the USB cable of your PC. If you have
already connected it, disconnect it again!
First install the USB driver for the module and the control software on the PC with the enclosed CD and
follow the installation instructions.
Now start the software Control Module at START/PROGRAMME/GSM.
6.1 General settings
With the button "D/E", you can switch the program language between German and English. The help file
is opened in the corresponding language.
When you click onto the button General settings, an interface appears for entering the SIM card's PIN
number, the desired phone numbers (PHONE), fax numbers (FAX) and e-mail addresses (MAIL).
6.2 SIM
Here you have to enter the four-digit PIN of the inserted SIM card. The PIN query on the card must be
activated (meaning when you insert the card in a mobile phone and turn it on, the PIN query must
appear!).
You can assign a password with which everyone sending the password can switch: this lets you switch
the 4 SMS outputs and the DAC output from any mobile phone and request an SMS response. The
password must consist of 8 characters. If you enter a shorter password, you must attach the corre-
sponding blanks with the SMS (see example on chapter 4 "SMS outputs").
For the module, you can enter a device name with up to 16 characters. During each SMS, the module
sends out this name at the beginning of the message so that it can be recognised.
For sending e-mails, you have to state the provider of the inserted SIM card.
